Often referred to as “golf with a shotgun,” Sporting Clays is an increasingly popular shotgun sport in which players shoot pairs of targets in various presentations to realistically simulate game bird hunting. Our beautiful clay shooting course provides the ideal setting as it winds along a wooded section of Oak Creek. It features 25 thoughtfully designed stations, and is easily accessible by foot or golf cart.

Our shooting club welcomes both members and non-members and provides opportunities for every level of shooter, from Sporting Clays shooting at Oak Creek Sporting Club ranges from beginner to expert. Newcomers to the sport will enjoy the more basic stations, while the experienced shooter can take on a wide variety of target presentations, including midis, rabbits, and chandelles. All stations utilize the fully automated Claymate system, and single shooters can take advantage of its delay option. Because station configurations are changed on a regular basis, it’s always a new experience for your day of shotgun clay shooting at Oak Creek.

If you are not equipped for a day at the sporting clay range, we can provide everything you need. Both shotgun and golf cart rentals are available, and eye and ear protection and ammunition are sold in our pro shop. We also offer a variety of accessories for clay target shooting and have an excellent selection of branded apparel to remind you of your outing. Non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks are available in our distinguished clubhouse, where you are welcome to relax after your day of shooting.
